LES CANDLE

In the French language, LES is the plural article used for both masculine and feminine nouns, a very genderful word indeed. It is also the acronym for one of New York City’s most vibrant cross-cultural neighborhoods—picking up on notes of rice powder, peach blossom, cardamom, cedar and pear, to name just a few of its many notes, much like the bodega and wholesale food suppliers synonymous with the area. All in all, this scent is an unexpected, abundant, cross-cultural, olfactive exploration that reaches far beyond the binary. Top notes: bergamot, cardamom, black currant Heart notes: peony, peach blossom Base notes: vanilla, cedarwood, jasmine rice - Coconut and beeswax with braided cotton wick, in glossy black glass tumbler. - Comes in embossed matte pink carton. - 8.5 ounces (240g). 3.4 inches (8.6cm) tall. - Roughly 50 hour burn time. - Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4” for a clean and smoke free burn. - On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — Minimum of 3 hours. There will be some “wax wall hanging,” but that’s normal. - After the first burn with wax melted to the edge of candle vessel, never let it burn for more than 4 hours. Discontinue use when there is only 1/4" wax left in the vessel. Coconut and beeswax bend with braided cotton wick.
